Understanding the California Privacy Act
Regulatory Compliance Webinar Series
Date: August 9th, 2018 - 11:00 AM (ET)
While many companies are still struggling with the aftermath of the EU GDPR Regulations, California Lawmakers unanimously passed a new privacy bill that would give residents of the state more control over the information businesses collect on them and impose new penalties on businesses that don’t comply. It is the first law of its kind in the United States.
In this webinar we will answer the some of your questions:
- What is the new California Privacy Act and how is it different from GDPR?
- How will this effect my business? What are the fines associated with non-compliance?
- What can we expect to see from other state and federal government agencies?
